Dixon Kiwanis: Serving the Children of Dixon, IL

The Kiwanis Club of Dixon, IL is a service club dedicated to the Kiwanis International motto to "Serve the Children of the World."  The club meets every Wednesday morning at KSB Hospital with breakfast at 6:45 AM followed by a short business meeting and an informative educational program. The Dixon club was started in 1968.

One of the ways the club fulfills its mission is through the sponsorship of several Kiwanis-Family programs designed to serve youth, including a K-Kids club at Jefferson School for 4th and 5th graders, the Builders Club at Reagan Middle School and the Dixon High School Key Club.  We also are sponsors of the oldest Aktion Club in the Illinois-Eastern Iowa District.  Aktion Clubs are designed for developmentally challenged individuals and give them an outlet through wwhich they socialize and provide community volunteer service.
